Firmware Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Firmware Development: Design and optimize firmware for robotic systems to enhance testing protocols and ensure reliable operation.
• Hardware Design & Testing: Knowledge of hardware circuits and collaboration with cross-functional teams ensuring they meet performance standards and reliability for robotics applications.
• System Integration: Collaborate with the Mechatronics team to integrate hardware and firmware, validating performance and functionality.
• Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve hardware and firmware issues identified during testing, implementing effective solutions for optimization.
• Documentation: Maintain detailed records of testing procedures and findings to support future development and ensure continuous improvement.
• Innovation: Stay updated on industry trends and new technologies to enhance testing methodologies and product validation processes.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• 4 years of experience in electronics hardware and firmware, especially in testing and validation of robotics or embedded systems.
• Proficiency in C/C++ for embedded systems programming.
• Hands-on experience with microcontrollers, control systems, and sensor integration.
• Knowledge of testing protocols, communication protocols (UART, SPI, I2C, CAN, Ethernet), and embedded test tools.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills for identifying root causes in complex systems.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Preferred experience working in Automotive Industry
• Experience with robotic testing frameworks and automation tools.
• Familiarity with RTOS, Linux, or similar operating systems for embedded systems.
• Knowledge of version control systems and documentation tools.
