Position Title: Manager/Senior Manager - Business Finance
Location: Noida
Department: Finance & Accounts
Reports To: COO
Position Summary :
The Senior Manager - Business Finance is responsible for overseeing and managing the financial operations and strategies of business units to ensure financial performance and growth. This role plays a critical part in supporting business leaders with financial insights, forecasts, and budgets, driving profitability, cost management, and financial decision-making.
Key Responsibilities :
Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A):
- Lead the budgeting and forecasting process for the business unit, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
- Provide financial analysis, variance analysis, and insights to business leaders for decision-making.
- Develop financial models and scenarios to support business strategies and initiatives.
- Monitor financial performance and recommend actions to improve profitability and efficiency.
Business Partnering:
- Act as a key financial partner to senior leadership and department heads to ensure business decisions are informed by financial data and analysis.
- Provide strategic advice on cost management, pricing, and business profitability.
- Guide and influence business units on financial performance, risk management, and investment strategies.
Cost Control & Efficiency:
- Oversee and track the budget and expenditures for various business departments to ensure cost control.
- Identify areas of financial inefficiencies and recommend corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with financial policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.
Financial Reporting & Compliance:
- Prepare and present regular financial reports to senior management, highlighting key trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting for internal and external stakeholders.
- Manage audits and ensure that financial operations comply with company policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.
Team Leadership:
- Lead and mentor the finance team, ensuring high performance and professional development.
- Develop training programs and ensure knowledge sharing within the team.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Educational Background:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; MBA or professional certifications (CA, CPA, CFA) preferred.
- Experience:
- Minimum 7-10 years of experience in finance or business finance roles, with at least 3-5 years in a managerial capacity.
- Strong understanding of financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
- Proven track record of partnering with senior leadership to drive business growth and efficiency.
