Job Description
- Invoice Processing:
- Review and validate invoices for accuracy and compliance with company policies.
- Understanding of 3-way match process (PO-SRN-Invoice)
- Ensure timely processing of payments to vendors and suppliers.
- Maintain accurate records of invoices and payments in the accounting system.
- Reconciliation:
- Perform monthly reconciliations of accounts payable ledgers and vendor statements.
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies or issues related to payments or invoices.
- Reporting:
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual reports related to accounts payable.
- Analyze spending patterns and trends to provide insights for financial decision-making.
- Compliance:
- Ensure adherence to local regulations like TDS, GST, foreign remittance, etc. and internal policies related to accounts payable processes.
- Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and information.
- Process Improvement:
- Identify opportunities for process improvements within the accounts payable function.
- Collaborate with team members to implement best practices and streamline workflows.
- Vendor Management:
- Maintain relationships with vendors and address inquiries or issues as needed.
- Assist in onboarding new vendors and ensuring compliance with company requirements.
- Bachelor s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- 2-4 years of experience in accounts payable or finance analysis.
- Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
