Key skills for the job
Preparation of detailed task list with estimates for upgrade/migration project and co-ordinate with Project Manager for project planning and execution.
Study existing system and prepare requirement definition document and upgrade /migration validation test cases.
Conduct a Project Kickoff meeting with local PDMLink Administrators to explain the project plan and discuss new requirements or software features.
Provide demos, presentations and trainings to customer stakeholders.
Install, configure and upgrade PTC Windchill software, Creo and related applications.
Preparation and execution of test rehearsals on test environment for Upgrade/ Migration.
Production roll out of upgrade/migration on new hardware and end user support after Production go live.
Rehosting of Test servers with latest Production data to keep test environment in sync.
Remote file server installation and support.
Document software new features/enhancements with new releases, track fix of software issues and communicate to customer team for upgrade plans.
Support End users on Daily Basis for PTC Product issues.
Take ownership of software, user technical issues and work with the customer and PTC Technical support team to provide a timely resolution to users.
Communicate well with customer stakeholders and project team members regarding tasks and project status information.
Weekly meeting with customer to discuss the project status and users issue.
Documentation of related processes, best practices, test cases in customer environment on available technical documentation tools.
Work with IT department for environment planning (monitor CPU, RAM, and disk space growth and plan for expansion or clean-up)
Applications performance management and execute performance tests for new hardware s as required for Creo CAD Tool.
Perform Creo Administration task
Creo upgrade for different business groups
Co-ordination with Creo business group for Creo upgrade
Requirement gathering for Creo upgrade
L2 support for Creo
Required Skills:
8+ years Windchill / PDMLink and Creo integration
Excellent organizational skills
Strong communication skills
Good analytical and problem-solving skills
Bachelor s degree in computer science, related degree, or equivalent work experience.
Experience working with remote teams.
Experience with incident management processes.
Good-to-Have Skills: PTC, Server Rehosting, File Server Installation, IT Infrastructure Planning (CPU, RAM, Disk Space Management), Creo Administration, Upgrades, Implementation, Software Issue Tracking and Resolution
