We are seeking an experienced Finance Executive to join our Finance Department. This role is ideal for professionals with a strong background in finance, particularly within the hospitality and insurance sectors. The successful candidate will have 3 to 5 years of experience in financial management, analysis, and reporting within these industries. They will play a key role in strategic financial planning, budgeting, compliance, and risk management, ensuring financial efficiency and regulatory adherence.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Analysis & Reporting
Prepare, analyze, and present financial statements, reports, and key performance indicators (KPIs) for hospitality and insurance operations.
Ensure accuracy and compliance with financial regulations and standards.
Budgeting & Forecasting
Assist in the development and management of departmental budgets within the hospitality and insurance sectors.
Provide financial insights, forecast trends, and recommend cost optimization strategies.
Cost Management
Monitor and analyze operational costs, revenue generation, and expenses to improve financial efficiency.
Identify areas for cost reduction while maintaining service quality.
Accounts & Transaction Management
Oversee day-to-day financial transactions, including accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and reconciliations.
Ensure smooth processing of invoices, claims, and financial transactions related to hospitality and insurance services.
Compliance & Risk Management
Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations in finance and insurance sectors.
Assist with audits, tax filings, and risk assessments while addressing financial compliance queries.
Financial Strategy & Planning
Provide data-driven insights and recommendations to senior management on financial performance.
Support investment decisions, profitability analysis, and resource allocation strategies.
Cross-Department Collaboration
Work closely with hospitality administration, insurance claims teams, and business units to provide financial support and enhance operational efficiency.
Financial Systems & Technology
Utilize financial software to track and analyze transactions and improve financial data management.
Assist in the implementation of new financial systems or tools for enhanced reporting and efficiency.
Internal Controls & Safeguarding Assets
Develop and enforce internal financial controls to protect company assets and ensure best financial practices.
Qualifications
Educational Background
Bachelor s or Master s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
Professional certifications such as CFA, CPA, or similar are a plus.
Experience
3 to 5 years of experience in financial management, accounting, or analysis within the hospitality or insurance sector.
Key Skills
Strong understanding of hospitality and insurance financial practices, including revenue cycle management, claims processing, and healthcare billing.
Proficiency in financial software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Excel.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex financial data to non-financial stakeholders.
In-depth knowledge of regulatory requirements in the hospitality and insurance industries.
