Finance Executive

• Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for individual hotel properties as well as consolidated financial reports for the hotel chain.
  
• Support budgeting and forecasting processes for hotel operations, including revenue projections, expense analysis, and capital expenditure planning.
  
• Conduct regular financial analysis to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), identify trends, and provide insights to improve financial performance.
  
• Collaborate with hotel managers and department heads to review financial results, discuss variances, and implement corrective actions as needed.
  
• Assist in the implementation and maintenance of internal controls to ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
  
• Coordinate with external auditors and tax advisors during audits and tax filings, providing necessary documentation and support.
  
• Participate in special projects and initiatives to optimise financial processes, enhance reporting capabilities, and support strategic decision-making.
  
• Stay updated on industry trends, market dynamics, and regulatory changes affecting the hotel industry, providing recommendations for adaptation as necessary.

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CA, CMA or Semi Qualified CA.
  
• Years of relevant experience in finance or accounting roles, preferably within the hotel or hospitality industry.
  
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices, including financial reporting, budgeting, and internal controls.
  
• Proficiency in financial analysis , with the ability to interpret financial data, identify trends, and make recommendations for improvement.
  
• Skill in Business Process Management, MIS, Financial Reporting and Annual Planning.
  
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and communicate financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
  
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software ; knowledge of hotel management systems is a plus.
