The Talent Acquisition Manager will play a dual role of team-leadership and hands-on recruitment. This individual will lead a small team of recruiters while personally driving the end-to-end recruitment process for mid to senior-level positions. The ideal candidate has 5-9 years of experience in talent acquisition and is excited to work in a fast-paced, mission-driven organization.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Team Leading:
- Lead, mentor, and develop a small team of talent acquisition associates.
- Develop and execute innovative recruitment strategies to attract top-tier candidates.
- Collaborate with leadership to understand hiring needs and align recruitment strategies with organizational goals.
2. End-to-End Recruitment:
- Drive the recruitment process for mid to senior-level roles, including job posting, sourcing, screening, interviewing, and offer negotiations.
- Build a strong pipeline of high-quality candidates through direct sourcing, networking, and partnerships.
- Ensure a seamless and positive candidate experience at every touchpoint.
3. Employer Branding:
- Represent the institution at events and conferences to attract top talent.
- Partner with other teams to enhance the organizations employer brand and communicate its unique value proposition.
4. Data-Driven Ownership:
- Own hiring outcomes to drive organizational growth
- Track and analyze key recruitment metrics to identify areas for improvement.
- Use insights to optimize processes and report on hiring trends and team performance.
Qualifications:
- MBA in Human Resources, Business, or a related field.
- 5-9 years of experience in talent acquisition, with a focus on mid to senior-level recruitment.
- Proven experience in leading and mentoring small teams.
- Strong knowledge of modern recruitment techniques, including direct sourcing, headhunting, and use of ATS systems.
- Exceptional communication, relationship-building, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
