The New Initiatives Leader (Director's Office) will be a pivotal partner to the leadership team, ensuring seamless execution of key strategic initiatives. This role offers a unique opportunity to work across functions-including admissions strategy, curriculum innovation, marketing, academic delivery, student experience, and partnerships-driving impactful changes that contribute to our growth and vision.
This position demands a proactive, multidisciplinary thinker with strong problem-solving skills, an entrepreneurial mindset, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic Leadership
- Collaborate with the Program Director and the team to design and implement strategic initiatives that enhance our offerings and overall market positioning.
- Drive innovation by identifying, conceptualizing, and launching new programs and initiatives aligned with industry trends and academic excellence.
- Monitor progress against key performance indicators (KPIs) such as admissions growth, revenue generation, and student outcomes.
2. Admissions Strategy
- Work closely with the admissions team to develop and execute data-driven strategies that attract high-quality students and meet enrollment targets.
- Analyze market trends and competitor landscapes to refine the admissions approach.
3. Curriculum Design & Innovation
- Partner with academic teams and industry experts to co-create and continuously improve a progressive, industry-relevant curriculum.
- Explore new pedagogical methods and technology-driven learning tools to enhance academic delivery.
4. Marketing & Outreach
- Collaborate with the marketing team to design impactful campaigns that build the institute's brand, drive engagement, and expand its reach.
- Represent the institute at industry events, conferences, and partnership meetings to foster relationships and increase visibility.
5. Student Experience & Progression
- Oversee initiatives that ensure an outstanding student journey, from onboarding to graduation.
- Develop systems and processes to track and support student success, progression, and career outcomes.
6. B2B Partnerships & Alliances
- Identify and nurture relationships with industry practitioners, corporate partners, and academic collaborators to expand our faculty and recruiter network as well as offerings.
- Ensure partnerships align with our long-term goals and contribute to revenue and value creation.
Candidate profile:
- Ivy League MBA, ex-founder, or 4+ years at MBB/LEK/Kearney or leadership experience at successful startups, with a focus on operational excellence and strategic execution.
- Proven track record in leading complex, multi-team operations, preferably in a high-growth or educational environment.
- Strong analytical skills with a data-driven approach to problem-solving.
- Exceptional communication and leadership abilities, capable of influencing stakeholders at all levels
