Title and Summary

Senior Specialist, Product Analytics

Mastercard Checkout Services Analytics & Optimization team builds internal analytic partnerships, strengthening focus on the health of the product, optimization opportunities, initiative tracking, new product and enhancement reporting, marketing campaign analytics and new market/partner launches monitoring.

The ideal candidate should have Tableau development experience, analytical mindset, and ability to create data reports and insights using raw data sets.


Role & Responsibilities
Design, build and maintain Tableau dashboards
Facilitate and complete testing activities around newly created dashboards and reports
Create and package manual and automated monthly reports for various stakeholders via Excel and PowerPoint
Define, design and develop complex SQL queries or extracts for dashboards
Analyze and interpret data to understand and identify trends and anomalies
Dive into more findings and problem solving from reporting as needed
Handle ad hoc data pulls and analysis for various stakeholders
Collaborate with Product, Engineering and business stakeholders to translate business reporting requirements into technical/data fields requirements

Education
Bachelor s or Master s Degree in a Business, Statistics, Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Mathematics


All About You
3-5 years related work experience, preferably in financial services
Experience in product management, product development, and project management nice to have
Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
Strong organizational, planning and follow-up skills
Ability to manage work on several projects concurrently
Strong analytical skills
SQL experience is required
Experience with web analytics tool preferred (i.e. Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, etc )
Dashboard development experience with data visualization tools is required (i.e. Tableau, Power BI, Cubes, etc )
Detail oriented focus
Self-motivated with a proven track record of delivering success while operating within a team
