Senior Product Manager

About this role:

We are looking for a passionate and experienced Senior Product Manager to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in shaping our product vision, driving growth, and delivering exceptional user experiences.

You will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to build products that bridge our high school network with university partners, focusing on enhancing student enrolment outcomes.

What You Will Be Doing

• Product Vision and Roadmap:
  • Understand the business goals, product vision, and growth opportunities.
  • Define and maintain the product roadmap aligned with organisational objectives and user needs.
• Collaboration and Development:
  • Partner closely with design and engineering teams throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Lead the creation of research plans, PRDs, user stories, wireframes, high-fidelity prototypes, and acceptance criteria.
• Backlog Management:
  • Manage the product backlog, ensuring prioritization based on business impact and user value.
  • Plan and prioritise sprints, epics, and themes for efficient development cycles.
  • Facilitate iteration planning and ensure clarity in elaborating user stories.
• Stakeholder Engagement:
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand and implement the product roadmap.
  • Assess product value, develop business cases, and communicate priorities effectively.
• Product Delivery:
  • Lead release planning and set clear expectations for the delivery of new features and functionalities.
  • Mitigate impediments affecting the team s ability to achieve sprint/release goals.
• Market and User Insights:
  • Conduct thorough research and analysis of the market, competitors, and user behavior.
  • Use data-driven insights to inform product decisions and strategy.
• Outcome Focus:
  • Drive outcomes related to student enrollment, ensuring our solutions effectively connect high school students with university opportunities.

About You

• Qualifications
  • Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering or similar technology-related fields.
• Experience:
  • Atleast 4-6 years of Product Management Experience - Web/Mobile.
  • Proficiency in tools like Jira, Trello, or Asana for managing workflows.
  • Knowledge of Analytical skills with proficiency in tools like Google Analytics, MixPanel, or similar.
  • Strong understanding of UX/UI principles.
• Skills and qualities:
  • Proven experience in building and scaling consumer-facing products with a focus on engagement and retention.
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams, resolve conflicts, and inspire a shared vision.
  • Capability to tackle challenges in a fast-paced and dynamic startup environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication for engaging stakeholders and documenting processes effectively.
  • Deep understanding of user personas and the ability to advocate for their needs in product development.
  • Strong ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
