The Financial Manager will handle accounting, managerial accounting, and oversee the financial activities of the company. The Financial Manager report to the General Manager and assist with the development of internal financial policies, procedures, and financial planning as needed.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
Monthly finalization of books of accounts for multiple operating companies as per US GAAP.
To set up internal controls and processes as per Core Internal Controls and mapping activities as per walk through.
To ensure compliance as per FCPA, Third Party Guidance, Know Your Customer, Visual Compliance, Import and Export Compliance.
To establish Segregation of Duties in Finance function.
To ensure management of working capital and free cash and to train non-finance. colleagues and distributors on the working capital cycle and its importance.
Analysis on investment opportunities on local assembly, localization versus imports. Accounts Receivables, Inventory and Fixed Assets Management. To review Balance Sheet accounts reconciliation in Cadency for all Opcos.
Finalization of Statutory Audit, Transfer Price Study, Tax Audit and Cost Audit for Dover India Private Limited by co-ordinating with other locations (Mumbai and Bangalore).
To co-ordinate with Internal Auditors for process improvements Productivity improvement through ERP development Commercial guidance on customer support activities for all Opcos Treasury support for BGs, LC and import & export
MIS and reviews with Opcos verticals on variances with AOP and Rolling Forecast vis- -vis Previous Year performance.
Review and improvement on Logistics performance AOP for multiple Opcos Rolling Forecast for Opcos
Qualifications / Requirements:
Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance + Qualified Chartered Accountant required
Post qualification of five to seven years of related experience. CPA is preferred but not required.
Problem solving the individual identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner and gathers and analyzes information skillfully.
Judgment the individual displays willingness to make decisions, exhibits sound and accurate judgment and makes timely decisions.
Planning/organizing the individual prioritizes and plans work activities, uses time efficiently and develops realistic action plans.
