Role & responsibilities

Accountabilities

• Internal audit policy and framework
• Audit Reporting
• Evaluate and follow-up on the implementation
• Statutory Compliance & Audit Requirements
• Business process improvement

Major Activities

• Support in creating audit manuals and SOP's for the operations across businesses
• Support in creating structured formats and mechanisms to assess: financial risk, quality of customer service, asset quality, erosion of revenues/ margins, breach of ethics etc.
• Document suggestions for cost reduction/revenue optimization, process improvements and system modifications etc.
• Support function heads in implementing these inputs and develop maintenance systems, follow-up and track implementation
• Provide inputs in the development of an escalation mechanism to ensure re-dresses of audit concerns
• Review findings of the statutory, internal and management audit proceedings, and monitor corrective action planned to address non-compliance
• Map the as is and should be processes with the process owners and analyze the gaps for improvements and correction
• Develop and implement the correction plan for improvements and review the same for effectiveness and efficiency
