Senior Manager / Manager-Human Resources

Job description

• The responsibility of the role holder is to manage 360 degree HR functions and related projects pertaining to the entire employee life cycle across the university, ensuring employee delight.
• Taking care of talent management, retention, acquisition, and planning of the workforce.
• Managing and being in charge of daily tasks and paperwork, such as recruiting, employee complaints, payroll processing, and so forth.
• Creating systems for human resources and upholding policies, processes, strategies, and practices throughout the whole organization.
• Stakeholder management in relation to human resources activities at the university, working with the relevant administrative representatives of the several schools, the dean of academics, and other related heads.
• Maintaining and creating good working environment for employees.

Requirements:

• Excellent interpersonal, negotiating, organizing, and multitasking skills
• Demonstrated job experience in the relevant industry
• Results-driven, people-oriented, and self-starting approach.
• Capacity to build personal relationships with different stakeholders.
• Proficiency with databases and HR systems.
• Good verbal and written communication, articulation, presentation, and active listening skills.
• The ability to establish and maintain interpersonal connections at all university levels.
• The capacity to regularly achieve time lines.

Qualification:

• Postgraduate degree in Human Resources from a reputed institution.
• Relevant experience of 5 years minimum.
• Experience in the higher education sector will be an added advantage.
