Deliquent Collection HEAD (Malayalee Candidates ONLY)

Role & responsibilities

• Oversee and manage the delinquent collections team, including hiring, training, mentoring, and evaluating Collection employees
• Develop and implement effective strategies for recovering delinquent loans, including setting goals, establishing targets, and designing action plans to achieve objectives.
• Transfer Delinquent/Early bounced* accounts to other financial Institutions
• Monitor the performance of the collections team, track key metrics such as recovery rates and delinquency ratios, and take corrective action as needed to meet targets.
• Maintain high standards of quality in collection activities, including reviewing communication with borrowers, assessing the accuracy of documentation, and ensuring compliance with collection practices.
• Provide training and development opportunities for the collections team to enhance their skills, knowledge, and effectiveness in recovering delinquent loans.
• Maintain positive relationships with borrowers, external agencies, and other relevant parties involved in the loan recovery process, ensuring a professional and respectful approach to debt collection efforts.
• Identify, track, manage and investigate allocated delinquent customer accounts
• Conduct Review regularly with field team
• Coordination with field functions who are involved in recovery process
• Improve collection efficiency from Delinquent accounts
