General Manager IT - Mumbai Location

Roles and Responsibilities

MAN Group is a prominent player, with flagship company MAN Industries (India) Limited a NSE/ BSE listed company, a prominent player in the league of World Class Manufacturers and Exporters of HSAW, LSAW, Line pipes and Coating systems besides ERW and SS Pipes. The Group Turnover is about Rs.3200 Cr., and the Group is well poised to multiply the same with the expansion of existing capacities and addition of new ERW Plant.

As the IT In Charge of a project-based SAW Pipe manufacturing company with multiple locations, your role would involve strategic planning, multi-site IT infra management, Enable Prepare Business Blue Print, ERP implementation, data management, cybersecurity, collaboration solutions, and vendor management. By leveraging technology effectively, you would aim to enhance operational efficiency, optimize project management, and support the overall growth and success of the company. Some key aspects of your role are:

1. Develop and implement the company's IT strategy, Business Blue Print; ensuring systems alignment with business goals
2. Oversee the design, implementation, and management of the IT infrastructure across different factory locations, offices and Head Office, including networks, servers, storage systems, and connectivity solutions.
3. Company is Currently using Microsoft Dynamics365 business central for its day to day requirement and integrating the CRM Module for effective order management
4. You will lead the selection, customization, and integration of current ERP system to streamline project management, supply chain coordination, and inventory control across factories.
5. Deploy and maintain a Manufacturing Excellence System (MES) to monitor production processes, track project progress, and optimize resource utilization.
6. Establish data management policies, data governance frameworks, and analytics capabilities to ensure effective data utilization for decision-making and process improvement.
7. Implement robust cybersecurity measures to protect the company's IT assets, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, access controls, and regular security audits.
8. Facilitate seamless collaboration and communication across factory locations and project teams by implementing and managing collaboration tools and communication platforms.
9. Manage relationships with IT vendors and service providers, including hardware and software vendors, cloud service providers, and IT consultants.
10. Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards, establish IT governance frameworks, conduct risk assessments, and ensure data privacy and security.
11. Lead and develop the IT team, providing mentorship, guidance, and performance management to foster a high-performing and motivated team.

Qualifications & Experience:

• B.E/ B. Tech in Computer Science/ IT, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
• 20 year Proven experience in IT. Heading IT in a project-based manufacturing company for minimum 5 years.
• Implementation of Microsoft 365 business central/ CRM / Project Management

Desired Candidate Profile:

• Strong understanding of project management principles and processes within a manufacturing environment.
• In-depth knowledge of IT infrastructure, systems, and software, including ERP and Manufacturing excellence System.
• Proficient in data management, cybersecurity, and analytics.
• Experience in multi-site IT infrastructure management and coordination.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to think strategically and align IT initiatives with business objectives.
• Up-to-date with technology trends and innovations relevant to the manufacturing industry.
• Experience of SAP implementation
