Role Overview We are seeking a dynamic and experienced professional to lead Production Planning and Controlling (PPC) for our Footwear Department. The candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and optimizing production processes to meet delivery schedules, quality standards, and cost objectives. Production Planning:
Develop detailed production plans and schedules based on customer requirements, inventory levels, and production capacity.
Coordinate with procurement, inventory, and sales teams to ensure material availability and efficient resource allocation.
Production Monitoring:
Monitor daily production activities to ensure adherence to schedules and quality standards.
Address bottlenecks and optimize production workflows for increased efficiency.
Control and Reporting:
Track and analyze production metrics such as output, downtime, and quality levels.
Prepare regular reports and provide insights to management on performance improvements.
Collaboration:
Liaise with design, quality, and R&D teams to ensure smooth execution of new product developments.
Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations during production.
Resource Management:
Oversee manpower allocation and ensure that all teams are aligned with production goals.
Identify opportunities for cost savings and resource optimization.
Qualifications and Skills
Educational Background:
Bachelor s/Master s degree in Production/Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field.
Experience:
Minimum 5-7 years of experience in production planning and control, preferably in the footwear or allied manufacturing industry.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in ERP systems for production planning.
Advanced knowledge of production workflows, material management, and lean manufacturing practices.
Soft Skills:
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent communication and leadership skills to manage cross-functional teams.
Ability to work under tight deadlines and multitask effectively.
