Job Description

Position Title: Business development executive (BDE
Location: Bangalore
Experience Level: 1-2 years in SDR or lead generation roles
Reports to: CRO/Sales Manager/Lead SDR

Position Summary

The SDR is responsible for building a robust lead and revenue pipeline for staffing and digital marketing solutions. The role involves identifying, prospecting, and qualifying potential clients across USA, Europe, and Australia markets. Success in this role requires a solid grasp of sales fundamentals, proactive outreach, and achieving sales targets.

Key Responsibilities

1. Prospecting & Lead Generation

  • Research and identify prospects in defined market segments.
  • Use tools like LinkedIn Sales Navigator, CRMs, and industry databases to build accurate lead lists.
  • Create targeted outreach lists for USA, Europe, and Australia.

2. Outreach & Engagement

  • Execute outbound email, LinkedIn messaging, and calls to engage prospects.
  • Personalize scripts to address client needs and ensure high conversion rates.
  • Schedule meetings or demos for qualified leads with senior sales reps.

3. Lead Qualification

  • Conduct discovery calls to assess client needs and fit for services.
  • Identify decision-makers and document insights in the CRM.
  • Follow up and nurture leads to progress them through the sales funnel.

4. Collaboration & Strategy

  • Align with senior SDRs, account executives, and marketing teams on outreach strategies.
  • Provide feedback on lead quality, objections, and opportunities to improve efforts.
  • Contribute to team strategy sessions for optimizing engagement.

5. Pipeline Management & Reporting

  • Log activities, interactions, and updates in the CRM.
  • Maintain a transparent and up-to-date lead pipeline.
  • Prepare weekly reports on outreach, leads, and funnel progression.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • Lead Generation: Monthly qualified leads added to the pipeline.
  • Conversion Rate: Ratio of leads qualified to meetings scheduled.
  • Engagement Rate: Open and response rates for outreach.
  • Pipeline Progression: Movement of leads through the sales funnel.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Education: Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, or related field. MBA preferred.
  • Experience: 1-2 years in Sales Development, Business Development, or similar roles.
  • Sales Skills: Strong understanding of sales processes and outreach techniques.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written skills to build rapport and convey value.
  • Market Knowledge: Familiarity with staffing or digital marketing is a plus.
  • Tech Savvy: Proficient in CRM tools, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and email automation.
  • Problem-Solving: Self-starter with a proactive approach to challenges.
  • Time Management: Efficiently prioritize tasks for multiple markets in a mid-day shift.
