Job Description

Role & responsibilities:

Product Management & Marketing

  • Work closely with the Global Category Managers, and Country Marketing Managers and across functions to establish a global go to market plan to support the launch of new products (sourced and New Product Development).
  • Understand the global strategy and business case for each product launch and transition the strategic vision into actionable product marketing plans (e.g. launch packs) for local adaptation.
  • Support the Category Managers in the development and refinement of global product marketing messages, value propositions and competitive research that can be adopted locally.
  • Manage and lead the development of global brand and product launch packs, such as product packaging, instruction manuals, product presentations, feature and benefit summaries, technical specification flyers, photography etc.
  • Ensure launch materials factor in digital and traditional executions, are comprehensive, follow brand guidelines, and are adaptable for local use.
  • Work with countries to ensure product launch packs are used as per brand requirements.
  • Working with the Category Managers, ensure all collateral and product marketing information is always up to date for the local markets to access - ensuring consistency and accuracy or brand, messaging and information.
  • Develop and maintain a global central file system, e.g a DAM, for all product marketing materials.
  • Work with in-house graphic designers to develop the product launch packs and any other associated product or brand information.
  • Manage the sourcing, briefing and execution of video and/or photography requirements for launch.
  • Measure the success and effectiveness of product marketing materials against KPIs and gather feedback from local markets and stakeholders for improvements.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on product marketing best practices, providing training, guidance, and support to regional teams and stakeholders as needed.
  • Support the Category Managers with other launch requirements as required.
  • Support the Group Marketing Manager with regular product launch communications and updates.
  • Support other global initiatives as required, such as global events and sponsorships.
  • Maintain the integrity and follow all policies and procedures contained in the Quality Management System and Environmental Management System.

Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement

  • Maintain open communication channels with Country Managers & Marketing Managers to understand their specific needs, challenges, and opportunities.
  • Collaborate with countries and assist with any local product marketing requests that could be used for other country adaptations.
  • Foster strong communication and collaboration channels to ensure seamless execution of product launches.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in product marketing, including packaging laws.

Proactively identify opportunities for innovation and improvement within the product marketing landscape.
