Job Summary :
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Business Analyst (VP/DVP level) to lead and drive business analysis initiatives for our organization. The ideal candidate should have 15+ years of experience in business analysis, financial modeling, and strategy execution, with a proven track record of handling a portfolio size of INR 1,500 Cr to 2,000 Cr. The role requires strong leadership skills to manage a team, optimize business processes, and drive data-driven decision-making.
Key Roles & Responsibilities:
Strategic Planning & Business Analysis:
- Lead and drive business strategy, financial planning, and forecasting to ensure portfolio growth and profitability.
- Conduct market analysis, competitor benchmarking, and industry trend assessments to support decision-making.
- Develop financial models, investment strategies, and risk assessments for optimizing portfolio performance.
- Collaborate with senior stakeholders to define key business objectives, KPIs, and metrics for tracking performance.
Portfolio Management & Performance Optimization:
- Oversee and manage a portfolio worth INR 1,500 Cr - 2,000 Cr, ensuring profitability and risk mitigation.
- Identify opportunities for portfolio diversification, expansion, and revenue enhancement.
- Monitor and analyze financial performance, asset utilization, and investment returns.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to enhance operational efficiencies and reduce costs.
Stakeholder & Team Management:
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of business analysts to drive high performance.
- Act as a liaison between business units, finance teams, technology, and senior leadership to align business goals.
- Present business insights, reports, and strategic recommendations to the executive leadership.
- Foster strong relationships with clients, investors, and external partners to support business growth.
Process Improvement & Technology Enablement:
- Identify process gaps, inefficiencies, and areas for digital transformation.
- Work with IT and data teams to implement technology-driven solutions, automation, and business intelligence tools.
- Leverage AI, analytics, and data visualization tools to enhance business insights and decision-making.
Risk Management & Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, financial reporting norms, and corporate governance policies.
- Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies to protect business interests.
- Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to ensure adherence to industry regulations and policies.
Key Skills & Competencies:
- Strong expertise in business analysis, financial modeling, and strategy development.
- Proficient in portfolio management, investment analysis, and risk management.
- Advanced knowledge of MS Excel, Power BI, Tableau, SQL, and other data analytics tools.
- Strong leadership, team management, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Ability to drive digital transformation and process automation initiatives.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Experience in the Insurance domain, preferably Health Insurance, is mandatory.
Qualifications & Experience:
- MBA in Finance / Business Analytics / Strategy or equivalent.
- CFA / CA / PMP certification is a plus.
- 15+ years of experience in business analysis, financial planning, and strategy execution.
- Proven experience in handling a portfolio size of INR 1,500 Cr - 2,000 Cr.
- Experience in managing teams and working with senior leadership.
