We are hiring for SAP ABAP Consultant

Role & responsibilities

• Assume responsibility for designing, developing, implementing, and testing complete, end-to-end business processes.
• Understand the functional requirements independently and be able to transform business requirements to technical specifications to code, test, and debug programs.
• Develop, code, document and execute unit tests, systems, integration and acceptance tests and testing tools for functions of high complexity.
• Act as the technical expert, ensuring quick turnaround in identifying application issues and providing timely solutions.
• Collaborate intensively with colleagues professionally to achieve the desired results and ensure development of high-quality solutions.
• Perform performance tuning to improve performance over multiple functions.
• Mentor and coach junior developer resources.

Preferred candidate profile

• Should have excellent technical skills in Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms etc.
• Expertise in using Code Inspector, Single Transaction Analysis, SQL Performance Trace, Runtime Analysis tools.
• Good debugging skills to trouble-shoot production issues and complex programs.
• OData/ABAP CDS Views /AMDP experience is must.
• Good knowledge about IDocs, BAPIs, SAP Forms / SAP Script, and ADOBE forms.
• Strong functional knowledge in Modules such as FI/CO, Logistics and HCM etc.
• Experience and knowledge about Native HANA modelling, Analytical Queries and SQL Script.
• Exposure around any of the front-end technologies such as SAP FIORI.
• Retail Industry experience is a plus.
