Job Description

The HR Intern will support the Human Resources department in its day-to-day operations and provide assistance with a range of HR functions, including recruitment, employee relations, training, and HR administration. This role offers a hands-on opportunity to develop professional skills in a fast-paced global environment, with exposure to HR best practices and a chance to contribute to HR initiatives that support employee engagement and organizational growth.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Recruitment Support:
    Assist with posting job openings, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, and communicating with candidates. Help in coordinating new hire orientations and onboarding processes.
  • Employee Records Management:
    Assist in maintaining and updating employee records, including personal details, contracts, and other HR documents in compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
  • HR Administration:
    Support HR-related tasks such as preparing HR reports, generating employee documentation, and handling general inquiries related to HR policies, benefits, and procedures.
  • Training and Development:
    Assist with scheduling and organizing employee training sessions, seminars, and workshops. Help maintain training records and track employee development progress.
  • Employee Engagement:
    Assist with planning and organizing employee engagement activities, surveys, and recognition programs to improve workplace culture and morale.
  • Policy and Compliance Support:
    Help ensure HR policies and practices align with legal requirements and internal standards. Assist in updating employee handbooks and compliance documents.
  • Data Analysis and Reporting:
    Assist in compiling and analyzing HR metrics to support decision-making and strategic initiatives.
Qualifications:
  • Education:
    A degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
  • Skills and Attributes:
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Knowledge of HR software (e.g., HRIS, applicant tracking systems) is a plus but not required.
  • Personality Traits:
  • Proactive and eager to learn.
  • Team player with the ability to work independently.
  • Positive attitude and strong interpersonal skills.
  • Flexible and adaptable in a fast-paced work environment.
