Job Role Insights

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

1. Recruitment & Talent Acquisition:

  • Manage end-to-end recruitment, from sourcing and screening to selection and onboarding.
  • Develop recruitment strategies to attract top talent, including campus hiring and job fairs.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to understand departmental needs and build strong candidate pipelines.

2. Onboarding & Offboarding:

  • Oversee the onboarding process to ensure a positive experience for new hires.
  • Conduct exit interviews and analyze turnover trends to recommend retention strategies.

3. Employee Engagement & Retention:

  • Design and implement employee engagement activities, events, and recognition programs.
  • Conduct regular surveys and feedback sessions to understand employee satisfaction.
  • Address employee concerns and foster a culture of transparency and open communication.

4. Performance Management:

  • Facilitate the annual and semi-annual performance appraisal processes.
  • Work with department heads to define KPIs, conduct 360-degree feedback, and address underperformance.
  • Support managers with goal-setting, coaching, and performance improvement plans.

5. Policy Development & Compliance:

  • Develop, update, and enforce company policies in line with legal requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws, labor regulations, and HR best practices.
  • Educate employees and managers on HR policies and promote a positive work environment.

6. Training & Development:

  • Conduct needs assessments to identify skill gaps and training requirements.
  • Coordinate internal and external training programs and workshops.
  • Track employee progress and ensure skills development aligns with company goals.

7. Compensation & Benefits Management:

  • Assist in salary benchmarking, job evaluations, and market research for competitive benefits.
  • Administer employee benefits programs (health insurance, retirement plans, etc.).
  • Handle payroll queries and ensure accurate, timely payroll processing.

8. Employee Relations & Conflict Resolution:

  • Address employee grievances promptly and provide conflict resolution.
  • Act as a mediator in employee disputes and support a healthy work environment.
  • Build relationships with employees to promote trust and improve morale.

9. Employee Records & Documentation:

  • Maintain employee records with accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Ensure proper documentation for audits, payroll, benefits, and compliance requirements.

10. Strategic HR Planning:

  • Support HR management in long-term strategic planning for talent acquisition and succession.
  • Collaborate with leadership to forecast future workforce needs.

11. Technology & HRIS Management:

  • Ensure accurate data entry and system updates in the HRIS.
  • Troubleshoot HRIS issues and liaise with vendors for system improvements.

12. HR Reporting & Analytics:

    • Maintain HR metrics and reports, providing insights on recruitment, turnover, and engagement.
    • Use data to drive HR decisions and improvements.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in HR roles, with a focus on recruitment, engagement, and compliance.
  • Strong knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in HR software ( Keka ) and MS Office Suite.
