Role & responsibilities

Min 6+ Years of working experience in Microsoft.

Technical Competencies:

1. Virtualization & Infrastructure Management:
• Expertise in Hyper-V and Nutanix VM environments.
• Configuring and managing Hyper-V failover clusters for high availability and disaster recovery.
• Hyper-V storage management (LUN creation, VHD/VHDX, SAN storage).
• Cluster Shared Volumes (CSV) management.
2. Windows Server Administration:
• Strong hands-on experience with Active Directory (AD), DNS, DHCP, NPS, and Group Policies.
• Windows Server backup solutions and disaster recovery strategies.
• Expertise in patch management and security updates for Windows servers.
3. Security & Compliance:
• Stale account analysis and user attributes management (single/bulk updates).
• Server hardening and compliance with IT security policies.
• Integration of applications with ADFS, SAML, and OIDC for Single Sign-On (SSO).
• Experience in Certificate Authority (CA) services.
4. Automation & Scripting:
• PowerShell scripting for automation, server monitoring, and performance optimization.
• Automating software deployments on domain machines.
5. Troubleshooting & Incident Management:
• Identifying and resolving OS, software, and network port-related issues.
• Hands-on experience in troubleshooting VM performance degradation and resource allocation issues.
• On-call support & escalation handling.

Process & Management Competencies:

1. Project Management & Planning:
• POA preparation for server migrations and upgrades.
• Deployment planning and execution for security tools and infrastructure solutions.
2. ITIL & Service Management:
• Strong understanding of ITIL processes for incident, problem, and change management.
• Coordinating with multiple teams (e.g., NOC, FMEs, security teams) for issue resolution.
3. Collaboration & Communication:
• Providing technical guidance to teams and stakeholders.
• Engaging with OEMs for tool procurement and deployment.
• Documenting configurations, RCA reports, and technical SOPs.
