Projects (Iron & Steel, Heavy Equipments Manufacturing)

We are looking for a Project Specialist with expertise in overseeing and coordinating engineering projects in the Iron & Steel, Heavy Equipment, and Manufacturing sectors. The role involves planning, scheduling, executing, and monitoring projects to ensure their timely and successful completion.

Qualifications: Diploma / Bachelor's degree in Mechanical.

Location: Mumbai HO

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Prepare, schedule, coordinate, and monitor assigned engineering projects.
• Read and interpret General Assembly Drawings and ensure project execution accordingly.
• Follow up and coordinate with the commercial team for the conversion of Purchase Requisitions (PR) to Purchase Orders (PO).
• Assign responsibilities to contractors and ensure timely completion of assigned tasks.
• Update actual project progress, maintain related documentation, and perform comparison analysis.
• Ensure successful execution of the project from conception to handover.
• Plan material and resources according to project requirements and front availability.
• Maintain and update all associated project documents.
• Study engineering drawings and execute projects in alignment with design specifications.
• Strong understanding of engineering drawings, procurement processes, and resource planning.
• Excellent coordination and communication skills.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple stakeholders.
• Proficiency in MS Projects for scheduling and monitoring progress.
• PMP Certification will be add-on advantage
