Manager - Model Development (Individual Contributor) | Remote | GCC

A leading Financial GCC is looking for a Manager - Model Development (IC Role) to develop statistical and machine learning models that drive key business functions, including consumer/commercial analytics, customer behavior, marketing, and operations. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with complex data, design predictive models, and contribute to business growth through data-driven decision-making.

Location : Remote (India-based)

CTC: Up to 18 LPA

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop and validate statistical and machine learning models using key metrics like PSI, KS, and Gini to optimize business decisions.

- Conduct back-testing of existing solutions on client-specific data to ensure accuracy and relevance.

- Ensure timely delivery, accuracy, and compliance with Audit and MRM procedures.

- Collaborate with internal teams to deliver ad-hoc analytical projects and provide data-driven recommendations.

- Document model development, validation, and results for stakeholders and audit teams.

Required Skills and Experience:

- 2+ years of hands-on experience in analytics or data science (4+ years without a degree).

- Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Engineering, or a related field preferred.

- Expertise in SQL, SAS, or Python for data extraction, aggregation, and analysis.

- Strong understanding of statistical and machine learning techniques, including Regression, Decision Trees, XGBoost, NLP (Topic Modeling, Sentiment Analysis), and Clustering (K-Means).

- Experience in building, monitoring, and validating models to improve business processes.

- Strong communication skills to present insights and influence decision-making across teams.
