Business & Team: Retail Operation & VERO Team
Impact & contribution: Credit analysis, decisioning, verification, monitoring throughout the credit lifecycle; the development of credit policy; or the implementation of credit strategies, including problem asset strategies; across the retail or corporate business
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Review and analyse home loan applications against credit limits and frameworks.
- Apply your knowledge of Australian home loan lending processes and regulations.
- Support credit risk management initiatives by working with management teams.
- Utilize data analysis tools and techniques to assess and manage credit risks associated with home loan applications.
- Collaborate effectively within a team environment to meet deadlines.
- Communicate credit risk analysis results clearly and concisely.
- Participate in the development and implementation of credit risk assessment tools and processes.
- Work productively as part of a team or independently to meet deadlines; provides coaching to team members.
- Communicates results and analysis of credit risks to management and key internal stakeholders and actions those with the business unit
Essential Skills:
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in a related credit risk analysis or verification role.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and data analysis tools.
- Working knowledge of Australian home loan lending principles and regulations.
Education Qualifications:
- Degree in a relevant field such as Finance, Accounting, or Business.
