Head - Operations - Insurance (15-20 yrs)

About:

- We are seeking a highly experienced and dynamic Head of Operations to lead and manage our operations functions for Chennai location and processes within the Insurance/Financial Services/NBFC domain.

- The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of insurance operations, specifically with extensive experience in one or more insurance lines.

Key Responsibilities:

- Operational Leadership: Manage and oversee multiple processes and locations to ensure operational efficiency, productivity, and compliance across the organization.

- Team Management: Lead and inspire large teams, fostering a collaborative environment to achieve operational goals and enhance performance.

- Process Optimization: Lead or contribute to the establishment, restructuring, and optimization of the operations function to drive efficiency, customer satisfaction, and profitability.

- Technology Implementation: Spearhead the deployment of relevant workflow systems, basic automation tools, and other technology setups to streamline operations.

- Quality and Productivity Frameworks: Apply and adhere to quality and productivity methodologies, including TQM, Six Sigma, ISO Standards, Kaizen, ensuring operational excellence and continuous improvement.

- Digital Products/Platform Operations (Preferred): Manage or have exposure to the operations of digital products and platforms, ensuring smooth integration into business processes.

Qualifications:

- 15+ years of experience managing operations in Insurance, NBFC, or Financial Services.

- Proven success in leading large teams and handling multiple locations/processes.

- Hands-on experience in implementing operational technology solutions (workflow systems, automation tools).

- Strong knowledge of quality and productivity frameworks such as TQM, Six Sigma, ISO Standards, Kaizen.

- Exposure to the operations of digital platforms or products is an added advantage.
