Zonal Sales Manager

Role & responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies for Myanmar market
• Analyze global market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify growth opportunities and potential challenges.
• Set sales targets and KPIs for the team, aligning with overall company objectives
• Monitor individual sales performance and identify areas for improvement.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, distributors, and partners in the assigned zone
• Negotiate contracts and pricing to secure profitable deals.
• Collaborate with marketing teams to ensure brand awareness and messaging aligns with local market needs
• Attend all social, industry and business networking events in the region on behalf of the company
• Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track sales activities and outcomes within the zone.
• Analyze financial data to inform strategic decisions and optimize sales profitability.

Preferred candidate profile

• 4-5 years of work experience in Myanmar market
• Experience in Sales and Distribution Management in FMCG products
• Strong understanding of the Myanmar market, including business practices, cultural nuances, and regulatory environment
• Good communication & selling skills
• Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse sales force
• Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving abilities
• Strong negotiation skills.
• Should be comfortable working in MS-Excel and power point
• Should be good with numbers and must have business acumen
• Willingness to travel extensively to oversee operations and engage with clients across different regions within the mentioned zone
