Export Sales Manager
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement export strategies for the US and Canadian markets.
- Manage all aspects of the export process, from order processing to shipping and documentation.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant international trade regulations and customs procedures.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, customers, and other key stakeholders in the US and Canada.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities in these markets.
- Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements.
- Manage export budgets and track performance metrics.
- Supervise and mentor export team members.
- Stay up-to-date on market trends and competitor activities.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2+ years of experience in export management, specifically handling the US and Canadian markets.
- MBA or equivalent degree in International Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of international trade regulations, export documentation, and customs procedures for US and Canada.
- Proven experience in business development, sales, and negotiation within international markets.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
Bonus Points:
- Experience with specific product categories relevant to your company.
- Knowledge of Incoterms and international shipping practices.
- Experience with CRM software
