Role Overview:

The HR Intern will assist the Senior HR team with payroll processing, drafting new contracts, and handling general HR tasks. The role also involves managing Excel sheets, maintaining HR processes, and supporting various administrative activities.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Payroll & Employee Records Management

  • Assist in collecting and verifying payroll-related data.
  • Ensure accuracy in salary calculations and deductions under supervision.
  • Maintain employee attendance and leave records.
  • Support in processing reimbursements and other employee benefits.

2. Contract Drafting & Documentation

  • Assist in preparing offer letters, employment contracts, and other HR-related documents.
  • Ensure proper documentation and filing of employee records.
  • Help in updating HR policies and handbooks as required.

3. Generalist HR Responsibilities

  • Support in onboarding and induction of new hires.
  • Assist in coordinating training sessions and employee engagement activities.
  • Maintain and update HR databases, ensuring data accuracy.

4. Data Management & Process Optimization

  • Work extensively on Excel to track and manage HR data.
  • Prepare reports related to employee records, payroll, and recruitment.
  • Ensure compliance with company HR processes and suggest improvements.

5. Administrative & Support Tasks

  • Handle day-to-day HR administrative duties.
  • Assist in internal communications and scheduling HR meetings.
  • Respond to basic employee queries related to HR policies and procedures.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Pursuing or completed a degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of MS Excel and data management.
  • Basic understanding of payroll processing and HR policies.
  • Good communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with integrity.

Preferred candidate profile


Education: Pursuing or completed a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
Technical Skills: Strong MS Excel skills (data management, reporting, and basic formulas).
HR Knowledge: Basic understanding of payroll, employee records, and HR policies.
Communication Skills: Good verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction with employees and management.
Organizational Skills: Ability to handle multiple tasks, maintain records, and follow HR processes efficiently.
Attention to Detail: Accuracy in maintaining data, contracts, and payroll records.
Professionalism: Strong sense of confidentiality, ethics, and integrity in handling HR responsibilities.
Availability: Must be able to work full-time from the office in Nagpur.
