Engineering Equipment Maintenance Technician

Key Responsibilities:
Routine Maintenance: Perform regular preventive and corrective maintenance on a wide range of engineering equipment, machinery, and systems to minimize downtime and ensure optimal functionality.
Troubleshooting & Repairs: Identify issues with equipment and machinery through inspections and diagnostic tests. Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and control system failures and perform repairs promptly.
Equipment Installation & Upgrades: Assist with the installation of new equipment and the upgrading or modification of existing systems to improve efficiency or performance.
Quality Control & Testing: Conduct quality checks on equipment to verify that it meets operational and safety standards. Ensure all maintenance activities are documented accurately and in compliance with industry standards.
Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety guidelines, regulations, and protocols during maintenance tasks. Ensure that equipment is de-energized and secured before conducting any repairs. Follow lock-out/tag-out procedures where applicable.
Documentation & Reporting: Keep detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment conditions. Generate reports on equipment performance, downtime, and ongoing issues to assist in future maintenance planning.
Inventory Management: Manage the inventory of spare parts, tools, and maintenance supplies. Ensure that required materials are available and well-maintained for timely repairs and servicing.
Collaboration: Work closely with engineers, operators, and other team members to ensure smooth and efficient maintenance operations. Communicate effectively to report issues, improvements, or upgrades needed for equipment.
