Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and result oriented Business Development Manager to lead our growth initiatives in the Energy Storage System (ESS) segment across India. This role involves developing and executing strategic sales plan to expand LAPP's customer base, strengthen market presence, and drive revenue growth.


Key Responsibilities :

1. Market Development:


  • Identify potential customers and leads within the ESS market to enhance outreach.
  • Drive market segmentation strategies to secure sustainable market share Pan-India.

2. Key Account Management:


  • Manage and grow relationship with key accounts such as Battery Manufacturers, Solar EPCs, Reliance Energy, and Adani Energy etc .
  • Identify cross-selling opportunities to maximize revenue.

3. Financial Oversight:


  • Ensure efficient cash flow management and oversee collections.
  • Negotiate terms and conditions for major contracts.
  • Monitor operational costs, activity analysis, and forecast data to achieve departmental goals.

4. Olflex Connect Solutions:


  • Collaborate with Olflex connect teams to grow the Harness Business.
  • Expand outreach for OLFLEX Cable System Solutions and secure new accounts.

5. Channel Development:


  • Identify and onboard dealers, agents, and consultants within the ESS market to enhance operational efficiency.

6. Representation & Advocacy:


  • Represent LAPP India at trade fairs and seminars related to ESS.
  • Showcase product expertise and effectively position LAPP's offerings in the market.

7. Strategic Sales Management:


  • Plan and execute sales activities, including forecasting, relationship management, and securing product approvals.
  • Design and implement marketing programs to nurture customer relationships.

Education & Experience :

Bachelors degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering; MBA/Management degree preferred.

Experience:

10-15 years in sales and business development in the electrical/cable industry.

Proven expertise in ESS, Battery Management Systems, and Solar Segment sales.

Strong product knowledge in cables, drag chains, harnesses, and cable systems.

Experience in tendering and high-value project business through platforms like IREPS/Gem.

Comprehensive understanding of the Pan-India market.

Willingness to travel frequently (up to 70%).
