System and Storage Engineer

Infrastructure Management:

• Install, configure, and maintain operating systems, servers, and software applications.
• Oversee server environments, including Windows, Linux, and virtualized platforms (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize system functionality.
• Implement and maintain backup and disaster recovery solutions.

Network Administration:

• Manage LAN/WAN, switches, routers, firewalls, and VPN configurations.
• Ensure network security by configuring firewalls and implementing access controls.
• Monitor and troubleshoot network performance and connectivity issues.

Security and Compliance:

• Conduct routine security audits and implement necessary updates to address vulnerabilities.
• Manage antivirus, anti-malware, and endpoint security solutions.
• Ensure compliance with IT policies and regulatory standards.

Cloud and Virtualization:

• Administer cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Manage hybrid environments and migration projects to/from the cloud.
• Deploy and manage virtualized environments using VMware, Hyper-V, or equivalent tools.

Collaboration and Support:

• Provide 2nd and 3rd level support to resolve IT-related issues.
• Collaborate with software developers, engineers, and other stakeholders for system optimization.
• Document processes, system configurations, and policies effectively.

Automation and Scripting:

• Develop scripts to automate routine tasks and improve system efficiency (e.g., PowerShell, Python, Bash).
• Implement and manage configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Puppet, Chef).
