Senior Accounts Executive

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Executive - Accounts & Finance to oversee accounts payable, vendor management, and payments. The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of relevant experience and possess strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accounts Payable:
• Manage end-to-end accounts payable processes, including invoice verification, approvals, and timely payments.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable tax regulations (e.g., GST, TDS).
• Vendor Management:
• Maintain and update vendor master data, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Handle vendor queries and resolve payment-related issues promptly.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors for seamless operations.
• Payment Processing:
• Prepare and process payment runs (NEFT/RTGS/cheques), ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Monitor payment schedules and maintain adequate cash flow for payables.
• Reconciliation & Reporting:
• Perform monthly vendor account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
• Prepare and present accounts payable reports, aging analysis, and cash flow statements.
• Audit & Compliance:
• Support internal and statutory audits by providing necessary documentation.
• Ensure adherence to company policies and financial controls.
• General Accounting Support:
• Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Support other accounting functions as needed.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com) or equivalent; CA-Inter/ICWA preferred.
• Strong knowledge of accounts payable, vendor management, and payment processes.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Oracle, Tally, SAP, or ERP systems) and MS Excel.
• Good understanding of GST, TDS, and other applicable tax laws.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
