- We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Manager of Collections to lead our unsecured business loan (BL) recovery efforts.
- The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in collections management within the NBFC sector, with a proven track record of achieving targets and minimizing delinquency.
- You will be responsible for developing and implementing effective collection strategies, managing a team of collection officers, and ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collections Strategy and Planning: Develop and implement comprehensive collection strategies for unsecured business loans, focusing on early delinquency management, recovery, and write-off minimization.
- Analyze portfolio performance, identify trends, and develop action plans to improve collection efficiency.
- Set and monitor collection targets and KPIs, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Design and implement collection policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with internal guidelines and regulatory requirements.
- Team Management and Leadership: Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of collection officers, providing guidance and support.
- Assign and monitor team performance, conducting regular performance reviews and providing feedback.
- Conduct training sessions to enhance team members' collection skills and knowledge.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Manage the field collection team.
- Collections Operations: Oversee the day-to-day collection operations, ensuring timely and effective follow-up on delinquent accounts.
- Manage the allocation of cases to collection officers, optimizing workload distribution.
- Utilize collection management systems and tools to track and manage collection activities.
- Implement and monitor skip tracing and asset recovery processes.
- Manage the legal and recovery process for written off accounts.
Delinquency Management and Recovery:
Develop and implement strategies for early delinquency management, minimizing the risk of defaults.
- Negotiate repayment plans and settlements with delinquent borrowers.
- Manage the repossession and auction of assets, ensuring compliance with legal requirements.
- Coordinate with legal counsel for legal action and recovery proceedings.
- Prepare and present regular reports on collection performance, delinquency rates, and recovery efforts.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of collection activities.
- Ensure that the team is following all the RBI guidelines.
