Job Summary :
- The Collection Manager will oversee the end-to-end debt recovery process, ensuring efficient collection of outstanding payments from customers while maintaining strong customer relationships.
- This role requires strategic planning, team leadership, and collaboration with internal stakeholders to optimize collection strategies and minimize bad debt for the telecom company.
Key Responsibilities:.
- Develop and implement effective collection strategies to achieve company targets.
- Manage and lead the collections team, providing guidance, training, and performance reviews.
- Monitor accounts to identify overdue payments and initiate timely follow-ups.
- Establish and maintain relationships with key customers to facilitate payment agreements.
- Analyze collection data to track performance, identify trends, and suggest process improvements.
- Collaborate with sales, customer service, and legal teams to resolve disputes affecting collections.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies in all collection activities.
- Prepare regular reports on collection status, outstanding debts, and recovery forecasts for senior management.
- Negotiate payment plans with customers, balancing company objectives with customer satisfaction.
- Utilize collection software and CRM systems to maintain accurate records and reports.

Qualifications:.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Accounting, or related field.
- Master's degree or relevant certifications (e. , Credit Management) is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in collections, with at least 2 years in a managerial role, preferably in the telecom sector.
- Knowledge of legal regulations related to debt recovery in the telecom industry.
