Job Title: Recruitment & Onboarding Specialist

Location: Mala, Meladoor, Thrissur

Job Overview: We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Recruitment & Onboarding Specialist to manage the end-to-end process of recruiting and onboarding new employees, as well as handling apprenticeship management. This role is critical in ensuring that candidates are selected efficiently, and new hires have a smooth transition into the organization. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of recruitment processes, exceptional communication skills, and a hands-on approach to employee onboarding and apprenticeship administration.

Key Responsibilities:

Recruitment & Onboarding:

  • Ensure MPR (Manpower Requisition) is approved for all hiring needs.
  • Source candidates using various channels and methods to ensure a strong talent pool.
  • Conduct preliminary screening of candidates based on skills, qualifications, and experience.
  • Schedule online initial discussion and shortlist the candidates.
  • Oversee interview formalities, including documents verification, conducting aptitude tests, and technical tests as per requirements.
  • Perform weightage calculation and rank candidates based on interview performance and tests.
  • Schedule final interview (offline) and manage interview logistics.
  • Coordinate the pre-medical health check-up for selected candidates.
  • Prepare and extend offer of employment & salary package and receive acceptance from selected candidate.
  • Record Offer acceptance and resignation letter along with resignation acceptance from present employer.
  • Complete onboarding process of KSB MIL upon joining of employees.
  • Create and maintain the new employees personal file.
  • Update and manage the employee database in HRIS systems.
  • Organize and conduct orientation sessions for new hires, ensuring they understand company policies, culture, and expectations.

Apprenticeship Management:

  • Register apprentices in NAPS (National Apprenticeship Promotion Scheme) & NATS (National Apprenticeship Training Scheme) portals.
  • Maintain attendance records and upload record of progress reports on portal.
  • Process monthly payroll through DBT scheme.
  • Upload final marks and generate certificates upon completion of the apprenticeship program.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in recruitment, onboarding, and HR administration.
  • Familiarity with Workday or similar HR management systems.
  • Strong knowledge of interview processes.
  • Experience in managing apprenticeship programs or working with NAPS and NATS portals is a plus.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
