Role & responsibilities

1. Follow up with manufactures in getting response to RFPs in defined format in defined time
   lines. Any deviations should be reported to COO
2. Review first round of negotiations done by purchase Manager and conduct 2nd round of
   negotiations independently and if required along with COO.
3. Lead supplier negotiations, recommend supplier selection and implement contracts
   designed
4. Conducting periodical product finalization.
5. Doing negotiations at the department level and taking them to the committee for the final
   negotiation and from there to Director-Operations for non-focused items.
6. Developing one point item master creation
7. Sanitizing item master periodically
8. Review new items created
9. Blocking/deactivating non formulary codes
10. Vendor finalization and periodical review of the performance of vendor
11. Ensure that all product categories (pharmacy, surgical, consumables, implants, joints etc.) key vendor data base intending to involve for annual negotiation process is maintained.

Preferred candidate profile

Candidate should be good in vendor negotiation skills and logistics management
