Job Description
- Develop and design instructional materials, courses, and programs, including e-learning, instructor-led training, blended learning, and performance support materials.
- Apply adult learning principles and instructional design theories to create engaging, effective, and scalable learning experiences.
- Use a variety of instructional methods, such as interactive activities, simulations, case studies, and multimedia.
- Conduct comprehensive needs assessments to identify learning and performance gaps.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to define learning objectives and outcomes aligned with organizational goals.
- Analyze job tasks and work processes to ensure training is relevant and effective.
- Create detailed instructional materials, including facilitator guides, participant materials, job aids, and assessments.
- Develop storyboards and scripts for e-learning and multimedia content.
- Ensure all content is accurate, current, and aligned with industry standards and best practices.
- Manage instructional design projects from conception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Coordinate with subject matter experts (SMEs), graphic designers, and other team members to produce high-quality training materials.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency.
- Develop and implement evaluation strategies to measure the effectiveness of training programs.
- Analyze feedback and assessment data to determine the impact of training and identify areas for improvement.
- Continuously update and refine training materials based on evaluation results and emerging trends.
- Stay current with emerging trends, technologies, and best practices in instructional design and learning technologies
- Evaluate and implement new tools and technologies to enhance learning experiences.
- Ensure that all training materials are accessible and meet diverse learner needs.
- Education : Bachelors degree in Instructional Design, Education, Educational Technology, or a related field. Masters degree preferred.
- Experience : Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in instructional design, curriculum development, and adult learning, preferably in a corporate environment.
- Skills :
- Strong knowledge of instructional design models (e.g., ADDIE, SAM) and adult learning theories.
- Proficiency in e-learning authoring tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate) and Learning Management Systems (LMS).
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Innovative Thinking : Ability to develop creative and innovative learning solutions.
- Attention to Detail : Ensures high standards of quality and accuracy in all work.
- Leadership : Demonstrates leadership skills in managing projects and guiding team members.
- Collaboration : Works effectively with others to achieve common goals.
- Adaptability : Able to adjust to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
- This position may require occasional travel.
- A portfolio of previous instructional design work may be requested during the interview process.
