About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and strategic leader to join our team as the Vice President of Finance & Accounts (F&A). This role will report directly to the CEO and Founder and oversee all financial operations, compliance, and investor relations. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in ensuring robust financial planning, managing cash flow, maintaining compliance, and driving strategic initiatives for business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Treasury and Cash Flow Management:
- Manage liquidity and optimize cash flow within the organization.
- Develop strategies for efficient treasury operations and cash management.
Bookkeeping and Financial Accounting:
- Oversee financial accounting and ensure compliance with statutory regulations.
- Lead and manage audits, including statutory and tax-related audits.
- Maintain accurate bookkeeping in accordance with GAAP.
Investor Relations (IR):
- Act as the primary point of contact for investors and handle financial due diligence.
- Manage fundraising activities, including preparing transaction documents and engaging with equity investors.
Process & SOP Development:
- Develop and implement standardized processes and compliance metrics.
-Oversee cash collection processes, ensuring efficiency and accuracy.
- Set up internal controls and audit frameworks.
Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A):
- Conduct annual and quarterly budgeting exercises.
- Prepare financial forecasts and provide insights to support strategic decision-making.
Team Leadership:
- Lead and mentor a team of five, comprising managers, assistant managers, and executives.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to support business growth and scalability.
Requirements:
Qualifications: Chartered Accountant (CA) certification is mandatory.
Experience:
- 10-15 years of post-qualification experience in finance, with a strong preference for candidates with:
- Experience in B2C or D2C commerce.
- Exposure to startup ecosystems or fast-growing companies.
Skills:
- Strong expertise in treasury, financial accounting, and compliance.
- Proven ability to manage investor relations and fundraising processes.
- Leadership experience in building and managing finance teams.
Work Style:
- Willingness to travel one week per month to Kichi.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
