About the Role:
We are seeking a seasoned Vice President of Finance to lead our finance function and contribute significantly to our company's strategic growth. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a strong operational background, capable of driving financial performance, managing risk, and fostering a high-performing finance team.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A):
- Oversee the development and execution of comprehensive financial plans, budgets, and forecasts.
- Analyze financial performance, identify trends, and provide actionable insights to drive strategic decision-making.
- Conduct regular financial reviews and variance analysis to ensure accurate and timely reporting.
Financial Operations:
- Manage day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and cash management.
- Implement robust internal controls and compliance procedures to mitigate risk and ensure regulatory adherence.
- Optimize financial processes to improve efficiency and accuracy.
Team Leadership and Development:
- Recruit, develop, and lead a high-performing finance team.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
- Provide mentorship and coaching to team members to enhance their skills and capabilities.
Stakeholder Management:
- Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, including the CEO, CFO, and other executive leaders.
- Effectively communicate financial information to diverse audiences, both internally and externally.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve organizational goals.
Systems and Technology:
- Implement and manage financial systems and tools to improve efficiency and accuracy.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- 10+ years of progressive experience in finance, with a strong track record of leadership and achievement.
- Deep understanding of financial principles, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Proven ability to analyze complex financial data and provide insightful recommendations.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with a focus on building and motivating teams.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in financial software and tools.
