The Opportunity Vice President Growth and Strategy
The Role - As the Vice President of Growth and Strategy, you shall be the proverbial brains of the operation, and work in tandem with the SVP of Revenue who shall be your peer and report to the Chief Operating Officer to drive the company s ascent into the big beyond. You shall be the primary driver of growth at Korra and your mandate shall include Client Acquisition, Communications, Content, Media and Operational Excellence.
You shall be at the apex of a diverse and multi-functional hierarchy comprising of Lead Generation and Pre-Sales Professionals, Brand Planners and Communication Strategists, Performance and Social Content Strategists, In uencer Marketers, Media Planners, Buyers and Operations Professionals, to own the following performance areas.
Growing Agency -
Identifying avenues for growth, across existing business verticals as well as conceptualizing and building new service capabilities.
Identifying client prospects with the lead generation team and driving new business pitches end-to-end to acquire new clients, as well as on-boarding them successfully.
O ering a strategic perspective as a part of the new customer acquisition process with the Brand Planning & Communications, Content Strategy, and Media teams.
Growing Client Businesses -
Advising clients on product and service strategy with a marketing and consumer lens to drive business goals and ensure positive outcomes.
Identifying opportunities for additional collaboration with clients across services o ered to them in-house as well as through third party partners, to maximize revenue and extraction for the agency.
Strategic Leadership & Governance -
Providing a strategic approach and inputs to address incoming marketing briefs and project assignments with a perspective on industry category codes, consumer insights, brand perception, product superiority and fitment, and cultural narratives.
Enabling amplification of messaging, with a perspective on consumer touchpoints, content approach, media availability and efficacy.
Leading and participating in cadences to ensure the execution across creative, content, and media is on-brand and on-business for the client, while driving quality in execution on behalf of the client.
Upskilling teams at the agency to adopt a consumer first and business first approach in their thinking, to ensure that the output is perpetually on an upward trajectory.
Validating results and outcomes with a set of regular cadences, conducting analytics and research, and generating insight driven reports to present them to key client stakeholders.
Recalibrating and reorienting the execution approach across agency verticals in response to data insights and results delivered, and constantly liaising with service delivery heads for course correction.
The Candidate -
Master s degree in advertising, communications, or equivalent.
15 years of experience across digital advertising, communications and media in roles that encompass or are adjacent to new business and client acquisition, as well as involving close interfacing with clients on an ongoing basis.
From a core Brand Planning or Media Services background with significant expertise on the other side, alongside deep knowledge and perspective on Content, Production and Marketing Technology.
Strong focus on revenue and business profitability, with an orientation towards upselling and maximizing agency profitability.
