Senior DevOps Engineer

The Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer is responsible for the enhancement and maintenance of software applications. We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to join our dynamic team. This position will work with project management to ensure that project deadlines are met and that the work meets user requirements.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design, implement, and manage scalable, secure, and resilient cloud infrastructure on AWS.

• Deploy and manage containerized applications using Kubernetes and OpenShift.

• Develop and maintain infrastructure as code using Terraform and Ansible for automation.

• Ensure high availability and disaster recovery solutions for cloud environments.

• Collaborate with development teams to integrate new applications and services into the cloud infrastructure.

• Monitor and optimize cloud infrastructure performance, security, and cost.

• Troubleshoot and resolve complex networking issues within cloud environments.

• Stay up to date with the latest cloud technologies and best practices.

PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• 5+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure engineering.

• Strong expertise in AWS, including EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, and IAM.

• Proficiency in Kubernetes and OpenShift for container orchestration.

• Extensive experience with networking concepts, including VPN, DNS, load balancing, and firewalls.

• Hands-on experience with automation tools such as Ansible and Terraform.

• Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, or similar languages.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

• Good understanding of tools Jira, Confluence etc.

PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS

• AWS Certified Solutions Architect or similar certification.

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools like Argo CD and GitHub Workflows.

• Knowledge of security best practices and compliance standards (e.g., ISO 27001, SOC 2)
