Development Engineer Klimaelektronik Hut

Purpose of this Position:

• To define the specification, develop, validate electronic sub-group of HVAC systems. Responsible for Engineering releases, relevant documentation, sourcing documentation from Engineering, Technical clarifications & review with Supplier, part development tracking & reporting, different development trials, ramp-up support & ensure functionality of intended use. Lead compliance with defined internal & type approval requirements. Coordinate Development activities with Headquarters. Represent Engineering team in different forums & coordinate with other entities to smoothen product development process. Steer the HVAC electronics development project against different project requirements i.e. time, budget, functional inputs & resources etc.

Authority:

• Decide technical releases of parts/ functions. Decide System & functions execution with development members in region and Headquarters towards project goal. Escalate the critical topics to management for project benefits

• Electronics of Air conditioning component and system level know how
• Product development process of vehicle electronics
• Self-starting and self-motivation

• CAN,LIN protocol and tools, test measurement instrument & software
• Knowledge about automotive Electrical and Electronics system
• Interpreting and analyzing results and data
• Able to handle off-board Diagnostic System on vehicle level

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure HVAC electronics relevant releases/ activities according to project time-plan
• Addressing regional, groups internal, statutory & regulatory requirements in project definition, development, validation plan & execution
• Steer the overall development process along with affected entities from project planning to launch phase
• VAVE ideas in development/ evaluation phase to reduce the part/ development cost
• Project steering, reporting – periodic review of overall project status for HVAC electronics, other affecting/ affected functions, identify risk involved, mitigate risk & reporting on overall status along with resolution plan as needed
• Enhance the regional development & release processes along with development suppliers and test agencies
• Focusing on knowledge enhancement in region by further competencies improvements & implementing lessons learnt in projects
