Position Name: IBN Planner

Functional Area: Assembly planning (PPF/M)

Reporting Position: Head Assembly Planning (PPF/M)

Qualification: BE Electronics / Mechatronics

Location: Pune & Aurangabad




Purpose of the Position (Short Summary of the Role):

Position ensures -

  • The position ensures that all commissioning steps are derived from Technical development specifications and documented in IPPP system.
  • Position also acts as interface to Quality audit function responsible for auditing Vehicle Electronics commissioning.
  • All UPS process plan is always documented and up to date in IPPP system.

Authority:

  • Creating of process plan for commissioning of vehicle Electronics in SAWIPL Pune.
  • Analysis of errors during commissioning and providing feedback to UPS programmers.
  • Adapting process plan based on changes in IB-3P
  • Adapting process plan based on requirements from production
  • Reporting status of UPS program and documentation readiness.
  • Verification of current process plan together with Process Audit Team and providing Feedback.
  • To report and coordinate with Technical development in case of issues with the test specifications.
  • To ensure Process plan in IPPP system is always up to date and current.

Skills Required:

  • Planning Competences - Product & Process Know how, product emergence process, Concept/Equipment Planning & Investment evaluation, layout planning, VAI/KAK documentation/Project report, Project Steering

  • Behavioral Competences Communication/ Leadership / Coordination / Team work / Presentation skills / Flexible / Safety.

  • Technical competencies: ITS Standards, PHS standards, End of line equipment, FMEA, Vehicle Electronics and diagnostic testing.

  • Project Management Concept planning, Work scheduling, Task assignment, Project steering, Risk management and mitigation, Project execution and control, Project handover.

  • Software/IT Competences - SIDISPRIME, Off board diagnostic information system (ODIS), System42, P42, MS office, PD/PS, Micro station, AutoCAD, MS Projects, Hyper KVS, Arbeits Plan, Ganesh, Connect, KSRM.


Key Responsibilities &Tasks:

1.New Projects Evaluation (New car, Special Cars, Capacity Expansion) PM-PF Milestone

1.1 Project premise study and evaluation

1.2 TKB, TPB study benchmarking

1.3 Concept preparation for UPS changes.

1.6 Evaluation for inhouse / External programming changes.

1.7 F-time / VBZ estimation


2 Vehicle Electronics & Diagnostic Systems (New projects)

2.1 Coordination with technical development for control units software data & test specifications.

2.2 Preparation of Plant specific IPB documents for new models.

2.3 Planning of Electric / Electronic commissioning processes on the line.

2.4 Give inputs for RFQ for UPS implementation for new models.

2.4 Coordination for pre-commissioning of control units & Electrical components on the test bench.

2.5 Ensuring correct commissioning of control units and End of line equipment, e.g. Filling, Wheel alignment etc. during pre-series cars production through UPS according to IPPP process.

2.6 Coordination of Electronic issues found during commissioning with technical development, Supplier quality assurance & Pilot Hall team.

2.7 Coordination with Operatives team and version manager to get correct Hardware and Software information.

2.8 Coordination and planning of training of rework area / pilot hall / IT and Production personnel on UPS / ODIS.

2.9 Coordination for ensuring correct Car build documentation in FIS-eQS.

2.10 Ensure regular upgrade of UPS server and client software and hardware according to group guidelines.


3. Series UPS Support

3.1 Plan and implement Quality / F-time / Productivity improvement related changes in UPS

3.2 Ensure complete documentation for Programming changes.

3.3 Coordination with Head quarters for new UPS regulations / New initiatives.

3.4 Ensure annual upgrade of UPS system according to SWPV.

3.5 Coordinate with local UPS support team for production shift support.


4. Detailed Product & Process Planning Finish and End of Line area

4.1 Concept 3P, Process 3P workshop with Stakeholders.

4.2 Highlight SET (Simultaneous Engg.) concerns and implement ECN

4.3 Coordination with internal and external stakeholders.

4.4 Line side logistics planning

4.5 VBZ analysis

4.6 Product, process simulation, accessibility check


5 Pre-Series Car Build

5.1 Ensure Preseries build as per Bauprogramme

5.2 Problem sheets raising and escalation in pilot hall meeting

5.3 Issues resolution during Management Buy- Off of Cars at CP8

5.4 Issues resolution for Quality & Production concerns in pre-series build

5.5 Support for LTF, Ghost run
