The Engineer will report to the Operations Supervisor of the KGSI and will be part of a global team that does Proactive operations support for Koch customers. The Engineer will work with multiple internal stakeholders and is expected to work with third party providers whenever it required and the global Infrastructure Operations team to provide a superior client experience.

The Koch Global Services (KGS) Operations Team is looking for an innovative and forward-thinking Senior Engineer with strong knowledge of working in Complex environment and utilizing the automation and proactive methodologies to resolve problem. with in this role, you will have an opportunity to work closely with a talented global technical team responsible for supporting Kochs global enterprise communications environment.
The Sr. Engineer will be a part of a Proactive Operations team that provides support and maintains Operation solutions for Koch Industries. Koch Global Services (KGS) is the global solutions provider for Koch Industries. We serve more than 130,000 Koch employees worldwide and partner with 11 Koch companies from a diverse number of industries; ranging from making fabric, glass and paper products, to manufacturing cell phone components. What You Will Do
Proactive management processes - capacity/lifecycle/automation audit results/remediation.
Jump right in and apply your existing knowledge of Operating System (Linux or Windows) while also growing and learning new skills and understanding.
Automation Enthusiast: Apply your passion for process improvement by helping to identify what can be automated or eliminated to achieve the greatest value. Work with automation teams to implement and improve automation with the help of AI and Machine Learning.

Create Knowledge: Create documentation to foster shared knowledge that will accelerate your teams ability close skill.
Facilitate escalation of complex incidents/issues, definition of proactive operations workflow & processes, identify opportunities to automate processes/tasks
Partner with multiple teams including Engineering, Delivery, Automation Engineers, Data Analyst, and Product Owners
Identify trends of possible systemic problems, Define ops processes & standards.
Evaluate escalation needs and Execution of backlog/roadmap efforts.
Troubleshoot & resolve escalated complex/prolonged
issues, develop & design ServiceNow forms, identify process gaps & process optimization and improvements
Liaison with Delivery team in implementation of standards and processes, customer deviations from standards to improve stability, actively increase skillset of Ops team.
Should perform operation alert tuning in monitoring tool as and when necessary whenever there is an opportunity to optimize the work.
Request any changes or upgrades for shared tools
Own stability and performance of the environment across the enterprise, Operation management processes
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
8+ years experience in a Large Scale/Global Enterprise
Knowledge of proactive monitoring and management protocols.
Strong communications skillset including presenting to technical and non-technical stake holders.
Strong administrative skills
Strong relationship building and management skills
Experience working in a multi-cultural environment with a diverse workforce
Practical experience with proactive and predictive analysis of all Infrastructure devices.
Strong initiative with the ability to seek out opportunities that can create additional value for the organization
Model Driven Programmability, Function Virtualization
What Will Put You Ahead
Bachelor of Technology / Master of Technology
Experience in operating system (Linux or Windows)
Knowledge of cloud and/or server virtualization (AWS, Azure, or VMWare)
Experience in an IT Break/Fix environment, using problem solving to fix issues
Experience working directly with end users and the ability to meet them where they are at technically for communication.
Experience in operations and proactive management
Experience in a global team environment that includes working with peers remotely and in person.
Experience with multiple Linux operating systems (Suse, Ubuntu, Red Hat, etc)
Experience in Python or other scripting languages to automate, optimize, and innovate
Experience with Ansible or other automation platforms
