Linux Operations Manager - Cloud (6-10 yrs)

Job Description :

- Primarily act as Cloud OS Expert in all hosting environments in IaaS, PaaS, SaaS cloud environments

- Looks into the configuration of all operating systems (Linux primarily) to make sure they are working correctly and are up-to-date.

- Manage OS deployment and upgrades, system setups, system administration, monitoring, incident resolution, problem management, configuration and change management.

- Monitors and analyzes the capabilities and performance of the systems.

- Helps to compare, evaluate, and implement new technologies, and integrate systems into the computing environment.

- Provide all the necessary assistance to cloud servers, including security configurations, patching, and troubleshooting.

- Help maintain system procedures.

- Help design, engineer, deploy, document, implement, and manage the Cloud-based solution based on specific project needs and global strategy.

- Manage or assist in the resolution of complex technical problems, while providing appropriate communications to all involved stakeholders.

Desired candidate should have :

- Good Knowledge of Linux based technologies

- Should have working knowledge of Active Directory, Exchange, Office 365, Azure, and other Linux-based technologies

- The ability to configure VMs and Web Applications

- Should have a bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, electronics, or telecommunications.

- Should have certifications like Red Hat Certified System Administrator in Red Hat OpenStack, VMware Certified Professional 6 - Data Center Virtualization, Microsoft

- Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE)on Cloud Platform and Infrastructure

- The individual in this position must have knowledge of virtual machines (IaaS, PaaS and SaaS)

- Expertise on Windows Operating system
