About the Role

We are looking for a Project Manager - Construction to oversee and execute large-scale construction projects under the guidance of the GM - Construction and executive management. This is a hands-on role, requiring active involvement in project sites, guiding Project Engineers, and ensuring that all projects are executed efficiently. The Project Manager will also be responsible for scheduling projects, preparing cost budgets, tracking project expenses, and collaborating with key project stakeholders to ensure smooth execution. A strong foundation in structural and civil design is essential to interpret drawings, ensure feasibility, and resolve technical challenges on-site.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage project execution teams at multiple sites.
• Provide hands-on guidance to Project Engineers to ensure quality and efficiency in construction.
• Schedule projects and develop detailed Gantt charts in collaboration with the GM - Construction.
• Work closely with executive management, clients, consultants, subcontractors, and vendors to align project goals and execution.
• Prepare and manage cost budgets, monitor expenses, and ensure financial control throughout the project lifecycle.
• Ensure timely project delivery while maintaining cost control, quality, and safety.
• Coordinate with procurement, finance, and planning teams for resource allocation and project financials.
• Oversee project planning, scheduling, and resource management using Primavera/MS Project.
• Review and interpret structural and civil designs, ensuring compliance with engineering standards and resolving technical discrepancies on-site.
• Monitor and report project progress to GM - Construction and executive management.
• Ensure compliance with contractual, regulatory, and safety requirements.

Requirements

• Masters degree (M.Tech in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or Structural Engineering is mandatory).
• Minimum 8+ years of experience in construction project management.
• Strong knowledge of EPC, BOOT/PPP, Lump Sum, and Design-Build contracts.
• Expertise in Primavera, MS Project, or ERP-based project tracking tools.
• Proficiency in cost budgeting, expense tracking, and financial planning for projects.
• Hands-on experience in structural and civil design interpretation and problem-solving.
• Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
