Job Description
Knowcraft is looking for a highly motivated candidatewith relevant experience in the field of US Valuations. As a Manager, we areseeking a candidate with the following skill set.
SERVICE TYPE/EXPERIENCE
- Working knowledge of the belowwill have a preference:
- Portfolio Valuations/ FairValue Measurements (ASC 820)
- Equity Incentive Awards (ASC718 and IRC 409A)
- Business Combinations (ASC805)
- Goodwill Impairment (ASC350/360)
- Embedded Derivatives (ASC 815)
- Gift Estate TaxValuations
- Experience of leading a teamand independently managing clients and projects
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Planning, organizing,conducting, and managing various valuation engagements.
- Excellent communication skillsare required for interacting with clients, auditors, and partners.
- Managing a team while beingaccountable for the weekly progression and reporting of the engagement to therespective account head in the team.
- Responsible and accountablefor quality control and accuracy of deliverables.
- Oversees multiple engagementssimultaneously.
- Works collaboratively with theteam and is a positive contributor to the firm s culture.
- Participates in firmwideinitiatives and contributes to the firm s growth.
- Leads, trains, and mentors theteam, typically comprising assistant associate managers, senior analysts,analysts /associates; and
- Planning for internal andexternal training for the team s personal and professional development.
QUALIFICATION AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
- MBA (Premier B-School).
- Add-on: M.S. (Finance), C.A.and/or CFA (CFA Institute, US); and
- Certifications including CVA,ASA, and/or ABV preferred Eligibility criteria.
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
- Minimum 6-8 years of totalexperience (with a minimum of 5 years of business valuation experience);
- Experience of working in theBig Four s valuation team or in a leading valuation firm will have apreference.
- Ability to manage one or moreclients and clients accounts.
- Proven experience in managingindividuals and carrying out an independent review of tasks performed by theteam.
- Ability to lead a team.
- Ability to effectivelycommunicate with the team, seniors, and clients; and
- Excellent quantitative,analytical, written, and presentation skills.
