Business Development Executive

Roles and Responsibilities

• Draft proposals and bid on projects across freelancer platforms like Freelancer, Upwork, and Guru.
• Proactively seek new business opportunities through networking events, social media, cold calling/Emails, referrals, and industry associations.
• Engage with clients to understand project requirements, negotiate prices, and provide timelines.
• Manage the entire sales cycle from lead generation to closure, including product/service demonstrations and contract negotiation.
• Stay updated on IT industry trends, technologies, and best practices.
• Develop and execute effective sales strategies to achieve targets and maximize opportunities.
• Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive dynamics. •
• Deliver tailored sales presentations, proposals, and demonstrations to clients.
• Provide accurate sales forecasts and reports to management.
• Ability to work on given targets and achieve the same.
• Researching organizations and individuals online (especially on professional and social media networks) to identify new leads and potential new markets
• Fulfill every facet of the BDE role to ensure its success and effectiveness in achieving organizational objectives.

Desired Candidate Profile

• 2-4 years of experience in IT Sales or Business Development role.
  
• Bachelor's degree in any specialization (B.B.A/ B.M.S).
  
• MBA referred but not mandatory.
  
• Proven track record of generating leads, closing deals, and meeting targets.
